OUR 2025 THEME:
ROOTED IN RESISTANCE

The Long Beach Dyke March is organized by a grassroots collective, by and for dykes, queers, and our allies.
We honor the dykes, activists, and revolutionaries who came before us. Their struggles planted the seeds of our movement, and we continue to grow, resist, and thrive.
We kick off with a rally at the bandshell, featuring speakers from our community—activists, leaders, elders, and those working on the frontlines for our community. Alongside the rally, we host a community tabling area, where non-profits and local organizations connect, share resources, and build solidarity.
When it’s time to march, we step off from the bandshell, led by the Dykes of Long Beach Motorcycle Contingency, revving up the energy and setting the tone for the night. We take the streets together—loud, proud, and unstoppable. This is our march. Our space. Our fight. Join us.
Our Team
WHO WE ARE
We’re dykes, queers, organizers, artists, and rebels. Some of us have been marching for decades, some are new to the streets—but all of us are here to fight for visibility, joy, and liberation. This march is grassroots, volunteer-run, and fueled by love. These are the folks helping make it happen.
ACCESSIBILITY
The Long Beach Dyke March takes place in a public city park and on city streets, meaning accessibility is partially dependent on existing infrastructure.
-
The rally area at Bixby Park Bandshell is on flat pavement with some nearby curb ramps.
-
The march route is along public streets with sidewalks, but terrain and curb cuts may vary.
-
There is no designated seating along the route.
-
ASL interpretation for speakers at the rally is being arranged.
-
Public restrooms are available in the park, but we cannot guarantee full accessibility.
We recognize that not all areas may be fully accessible and while we strive to make the march as inclusive as possible, we cannot guarantee full accessibility.

TABLING & COMMUNITY RESOURCES
The Long Beach Dyke March is not just a protest—it’s a space to connect, share resources, and build solidarity.
At the rally, we host a community tabling area, where non-profits, grassroots organizations, and local groups can share information, provide services, and engage with the community.
If your organization would like to table, reach out via our contact page for details on how to participate.
